For the year of 2010, we will give a complimentary 8x10 portrait gift or 16 wallets to any previous client of ours who refers us to a new client! New client must be actually photographed by us and order from that session.  After their order is placed and purchased, you may receive your complimentary gift from a past session or a brand new session, your choice!

{Special Benefit}

There is going to be a special benefit in Kouts Indiana Memorial Day weekend.

I will update with information as I get it!

Heather Semento and her wonderful husband Tony from the Sementos Bar here in Valparaiso will be grilling up some yummy hotdogs during the benefit!

Heather and her husband are fantastic people and wonderful friends of ours. 

Heather's heart is just about as big as Texas...and that truly is not an exaggeration!

We are so blessed to have them in our lives  and you will be truly blessed to meet them as well :)

Beware....there just may never be two people more in love then these two....

so ... be prepared to be jealous :)

We will also be donating an Artistic Portrait Session  including (1) 16x20 portrait from the session and a cd of low resolution images to be used on facebook, myspace, and personal emails!

We headed to southern Indiana to a out of the way camp ground that is also a trailer park.  Who would of known the treasure we would find!

Had to do a little adjustment on the color "green"  I like it this color green way better and it matches the blog quite well!  So there you have it, I found and figured out the new posting for images!

Ah SPRING...

I LOVE all four season, but spring is just so beautiful.

Kids are out playing, 

laughter can be heard all around,

 the smell of a great bbq creeps into our homes,

everywhere we look we see beautiful color,

school is almost over,

swimming pools are re-opened ...

can't get much better than this!

{silly kinda day}

This is just a silly kinda day!

As most of you know, I am working on the daunting task of building a new website...

Although we are always happy with the end result, they take a whole lot of time and patience and then some more time and patience :) 

it all started with...

14 plus hrs of editing and posting, reposting and correcting

about 5 hrs into it, I get a visit from my gpa 

he asks if I have a min, I say yes, he decides he needs more like 45 min :)

I was in a groove, then lost it did some dishes and dove back in

kids come home, make dinner

turn on VAMPIRE DIARIES (love love love that show)

and start answering emails, returning calls to clients, call prospective Brides

I feel swamped, tired, and I am slowly loosing steam lol

I start again with the whole editing and posting

Somewhere around 2 am I crash 

Exhausted....the 6 am  bell rings waking only me up, 

not those little kiddos that NEED to be up and getting ready for the big day!

I stumble downstairs, open all the windows and blinds and let the beautiful fresh air

blow in

turn on my computer to start yet another day of editing

and walk over to my lovely Keurig  to make a delicious

Skinny Vanilla Latte

Beautiful way to start my day and wake me up

don't ya  think?!

I check on the kiddos, go back to grab what I thought would be

a cup of coffee....and find how brewed water!

I immediately think, hmmm that was a rip off!

I am going to take that K-cup right back to BED BATH AND BEYOND!

I open the Keurig to inspect my K-cup

and find NOTHING!

how did I forget to put the coffee in?

:)  I had to start giggling to myself, and my kids thought I 

was loosing my mind!

Just one of those silly kinda days!

I have to work a venue tonight as well....

maybe it is time for a nap!

{personal}

lots of things are going on, and we just haven't had the time to sit down and update a thing.  We are working so hard on getting things up and running and switching out a few things here and there.  We have added to our main web page and changed a few things....we are also working on a BRAND NEW website that will feature Weddings and Couples only, with a link back to our {portrait site} and {blog} respectfully!  After the new addition is up and running, couples and weddings will be removed from the first site which you are viewing as of now, and it will only artistic portraits.  It was  a hard decision to make having two websites and TWICE the work, but we feel that it is  a better fit and will help display our images in a better way.   We thank you for your patience and will be having a SPECIAL in honor of our new upcoming website this summer....so stay tuned and check back for details...it is going to be a good one, def one that you will not want to miss.

Well, now is time for me to get back to pulling out my hair a little more and trying to get some more done with the Wedding site!

It has been a huge challenge to say the least...

I have set down before and started it, but life got hectic and I wound up putting it on hold a little longer..

no more time to waste, 

it is going up live by end of May!

Spring is one of the most blissful, rejuvenating times of the year....

and one of the hardest times to schedule appointments :)

I love rainy images and umbrellas to boot....but when it is rainy and windy...it causes some huge friction with our camera equipment!  So there has been lots of rescheduling going on!

While we sit and um, enjoy this rainy season

we are working on our new website that will feature WEDDING/COUPLE

and we are getting very excited about it!  

Having a few more glitches and bugs that have to be worked out...

things we have no control over on our end ;)

So in the mean time, we have updated and are continuing to update our current website!

I am going to go back to editing images, enjoy a glass of chilled black cherry wine and watch Free Willy (the Bendi version) with the kiddos...so run on out of here and enjoy a little escape with your lovies too!

Putting some finishing touches on the business ad materials and 

getting ready to deliver them around town!

My grandparents have made it home safe and sound 

My kids are doing beautifully

My life is blessed

I can't ask for more!

*sorry things are slow here on the blog.  Between sessions, editing, client orders and family...I just have not had all the extra time to upload images after uploading them to private online galleries!  :)

I do send my love out to all of you and hope you understand and accept my little {issue} at hand.

It is great to be busy, but it forces me to make choices that sometimes I do not want to make!

Hopefully, I can get back to blogging and adding images soon again....thanks for your patience!
