Little Princess D

Where oh where do I start with little Princess D?!  In one word.....BLESSED!  She is one of the most quiet children that I have ever had the pleasure of photographing......but she is spot on with what we are trying to capture in our images!  Such a little jewel to work with, truly.   You just want to pick her up and squeeze her!  I just can not say enough about this family or this little doll of theirs! Mom and I go way back to grade school times together, so this little princess is an extra special capture for me today!  Great job little Miss D!  I had such a fantastic time with you............until we meet again.....here are a few of my favs!

Little K

I have been photographing this little one for years now!  She usually has thoughts of her own and ideas that are unknown, but today was very calm and laid back.....We had a great time together, other than little K forgot her wardrobe changes.......we have some fun things in mind.....but will have to fit them in at a later date!  Here are a few from our time together!  We found some great place to shoot, but it had 7 NO TRESPASSING signs.......so we decided to mind the law!  We are calling on this situation to see if it is possible that we gain access to grab some shots at a later date!  Thanks K, you were wonderful as always!  hugs~

So I had a blast from the past session today!  An friend from way back in good ol elementary school and I met up today!  It was so fun seeing her again and meeting with her beautiful children!  I can not believe how much her daughter reminds me of her when she was little.  It is remarkable really!  I sure miss mine being this little :)  But that is the joy in capturing these moments for everyone else.....I get to enjoy their little ones in their little moments in time!  It truly is a treasure in life!  So here are two of my favorites!  I totally enjoyed getting to catch up with you a bit Toby, and chat about past times!  Can't wait till the next time!  Your kids are beautiful and wonderful to spend time with!  Plus such great helpers!  um let me change that to ASSISTANTS!  lol

Baby C

Little Man C...aw he is such a sweetheart! I am in love with his big blue eyes and curly hair.....you can't appreciate either one in this image, but trust me they are both there! SO "C" got to try out our newest prop.....or "bear cap" and he looks so darn sweet! These little nugget caps will be available on etsy later this fall/winter for purchase. We are working on perfecting them and then they will be available for you to enjoy as well! Thank you little man for being such a great sport today! You are such a little blessing to photograph :)

Ok, so we are doing s few things backwards here today.  Our beautiful bride and handsome groom are our first couple to grace the "cover" of our new blog...their wedding entry was our first entry.   He is not only handsome, but a fun loving guy that had Leslie laughing and smiling our entire session.  She is not only beautiful but clearly romantic and caring in every way.  What can I say...PERFECT MATCH! Quite a few men are less than enthusiastic to have their picture taken.....not in our case with Rusty.  He did a fantastic job keeping up with Leslie and her expectations of our session together!  Leslie was spot on with all her ideas and thoughts of what she would like from her session with us....and I have to say, I LOVED how her thoughts we merging with my ideas  as well.   Not to mention, the love just poured out of these two......I should of know then how beautiful the memories would be that Leslie and Rusty were going to be creating for us all on their wedding day!  Here are a few of my favorite from our time together...

It looks like Rusty got t0 etch the perfect heart.......but it was his beautiful fiance Leslie who actually drew the heart in the sand in the end...Rusty's got washed away :)  I have to give props to Leslie here, as this was her idea for their beach portrait together!  I have to admit, it was a cute one which I too loved.

Thanks once again Leslie and Rusty for being such a fantastic couple to work with.  Your love story has been one of our favorites this far!  We wish you all the best in life and your new adventure together.  We are sincerely thankful that you had faith in us to capture not only this beautiful moment for you, but this once in a lifetime journey as well....

For our first major blog entry......we couldn't be happier with the two main stars of the show!  Leslie and Rusty were a dream to work with.  The two of them made you want to fall in love with the idea of "falling in love".  I even caught myself shedding a tear a few times during their celebration!  It has been years since I have been moved to tears during a wedding.....you had to be there to see how much love and support these two had through family and friends.  Dare I say unbelievable?  From my first meeting with Leslie at a local Starbucks, I knew she was going to be one of those "dream brides"  The ones we all want to get to work with!  She was not only on top of every detail, she was so polite and loving to work with.  Their event was a true blessing to capture.  I can not even tell you how beautiful everything was at every turn!  Even their bridal party was a breeze to work with!  Smiles and happiness everywhere you looked with glowing faces and hearts full of love and praise!  AMAZING!  So with out further delay, I will share a few of my favorite images from our day together!  I can not wait to get through all of the images and edit everything down.  Thanks Rusty and Leslie for being such a wonderful couple to work with.  We truly feel blessed to have had this special moment with the two of you!  Thanks Leslie for inspiring me to once again fulfill the blogging commitment!

Blogging...

Recently, I had a bit of a request to blog! We had done it in the past and then gotten away from it all.  With the new development of a wonderful website coming out for weddings/couples only ....we decided to start one up again.  We will be adding our latest sessions as well as some personal goings on in our life as well as business adventures and some random ramblings!   We feel that this will be a great way for you to get to know us!  So sit back and enjoy some time with us!

LOVE + PHOTOGRAPHER = LOVEOGRAPHER

love (luv) n.  1. A very deep affection and adoration. 2. Strong desire for another person. 3. Altruism, passion. 4. Strong regard, liking, fondness & attachment. Benevolence towards another individual. 5. Synonyms: affection, adore, crush, desire, delight, devotion, friend, fondness, enamored, enjoyment, emotion, infatuation, rapture, regard, smitten, solicitude, sweetheart, tenderness, the hots, weakness, wild about!

photographer (fer.ta.gre.fer) n.  one practices photography. Photography: the art or process of producing images by the action of radiant energy and especially light on a sensitive surface.

WHY? Our desire to start this mission for Loveography, started with having the deep desire to give back to others, giving them that moment .    A moment captured  of their Loveography session.  A chance for them to reflect back many, many days, weeks, months, even years from now on the feelings they had for each other the very moment their images were captured.    Imagine, being angry at your loved one....and walking past your images and having a moment to reflect on your true feelings. To embrace the love between the two of you and all you share and realizing that maybe, just maybe it is not worth being angry.  Or maybe, reflecting back on a time you actually shared with a loved one that has now passed.  Images are very powerful.  Especially ones that are filled with emotion. 

Life is to short, so kiss slowly, forgive quickly, and love deeply.  This is a motto that I am trying to live by.   The other reason, and it being a very important one: is that I recently found out my grandfather has less than 2 months to live.  A battle with cancer that he is not winning, unfortunately.  But he is ready to go home, to go be with his maker.  My grandfather is a very loving, smart, and a deeply spiritually moved man.  I can tell you the images my family has been able to capture, have been such a wonderful keepsake of the love.  Esp the love he and my grandma still share.  I have been truly blessed to be able to see the true meaning of love and to be able to share in their joy.
