~We have been working like crazy on the web lately.  

~As promised there will be a special on our Senior Sessions, by the end of March.

~a new website for couples & weddings...should be live shortly

~we have changed things on the blog;  grab a cup of yummy coffee, sit back, relax 

and take a look around

~we are enjoying everything blueberry lately...coffee, tea, and jam!

~we have been getting our models together and ready for our 2012 seniors

~we are now part of a womens business group, and working together has been fantastic

~we are now offering advertisement off to the left hand side of our blog

~we will soon be shooting the winner of our GIVING IS AWESOME, can't wait....what beautiful soul she has, and such an amazing person

~our winner from our March Contest will have her shoot this Friday..stay tuned for the posting

~we will be adding some fun spring contests shortly....as promised

:: i am trying to be better at: patience with inconsiderate people, understanding that people work on emotion and simply do not think many times before the say or do.

:: the most recent rad thing i found online was: my new postcard/portrait  tower!

:: what other professions have i worked in: it is funny actually...completley different from the arts.  i was a cardiac tech working with cardiac patients after heart attacks and open heart, and a dental assistant!

:: what is a profession that i would still love to do: i would love to be a vitner!!!  i have ALWAYS thought that  vineyards were beautiful..even breath taking.  i would love to live on one and learn the art of wine making!  i  still think at times, it is a profession i just may go after in my lifetime!

:: who is someone you admire: i admire my grandfather.  both actually, but my grandpa C. worked until he was 81 to support his family.  he is so wise and genuine.  i feel blessed to have him in my life, as he has taught me so much about life itself and going after your dreams.  when life threw me a curve ball, he was my cheerleader.  he never gave up on me.  when i went into this profession, he was not thrilled...afterall, i left the medical field to persue it.  but as time went by, he told me to use the gift God gave me to my advantage.  to take the bull by the horns and never look back! 

:: what are some major lessons you have learned in life: i learned that rarely things are as they seem.  when we are younger, we think everyone is our friend...when we start to grow through age, we realize who our true friends are. RMXWWMDSTWD6

{meet Miss H / Northwest Indiana Senior Photographer}

...we headed to a local park to grab a few images before H headed her way south.

it was a heck of alot chillier than we had anticipated it being

but a quick stop at Starbucks between locations and

we were ready to roll with it again.

this location here, was an absolute dream with all the textures, colors, mixed surfaces

i was in HEAVEN

like seriously!

but great locations come with some kinda price always....

and this one came with a BIG, heavy black garbage bag

this bag def grabbed  H's  attention

i never could of dreamt up what came out of her mouth next

but it sorta went like this

"um, what do ya think is in that big bag?"

followed by a swift kick to the bag by H

"well, it sure feels like it may be heavy....maybe like a body!"

"gross, what if it's a body?!"

i just about peed my pants....like seriously!

although truthfully, every CSI show that i have ever watched came reeling back through my mind!

i mean to tell you the truth, the bag was a bit creepy...but i am sure there was NO BODY 

in that darn bag!

Holly is one or our VHS models for the 2012 school year :)

We were able to get a jump start on her session

this winter....just for fun!

I grabbed Holly and headed out to a local park...where we were blessed with a 

"little snow"

We had massive snow 2 weeks before, and it was beautiful,

but unfortunately we had to reschedule due to illness.

sooo, when we started to get the white fluffy stuff...I called Holly and asked if 

she was ready for a somewhat impromptu session..and she was!
